Well, it is that time again, almost Christmas. I know that sets off a panic alarm, but it is time to work on it before the pressure is really on.
Last year Project Merry Christmas ministered to 4 different churches. We gave Christmas gifts to 200 Children and youth for the Glory of Jesus Christ. We touched so many lives with the love of Jesus. The smiles of the parents alone was worth it, but the smiles of the children just reaffirmed our determination and dedication to reach more lives through Project Merry Christmas.
This year we are taking on 5 churches. And just today we have been asked to take on a 6th. But to do this we need your help.
We truly need toys for boys and girls ages 11 and under.
We also need funding for the food as it costs 125.00 dollars per church for the food we give out also.
We at Baja Soul Patrol feel each precious child deserves the best possible we can give them as all good gifts come from the Father. I am asking you to pray and seek God on this matter with me. Tell your families and friends we need their help. Tell everyone you can.
Last year we blessed 200 children with a good balanced hot meal, a bible lesson with songs and a story, now this year we are looking at least 300.That’s 300 children hearing about Jesus, and receiving a gift from their Heavenly Father who loves them, by means of us working together for the Glory of God.

Friday Night—Going for the Gold
2 Timothy 2:19 – 21
Your destiny or choice of destiny is in your hands, it is a choice. We get to choose a life for noble purposes or ignoble purposes. How we were born or why or what bad things have happened to us to this point does not matter to God. What really matters to God is will we choose him and his ways, will we choose noble over ignoble, obedience over disobedience.. It is up to us, we may have been born clay but we can choose to be gold.. But we must change how we think in our heart.
Proverbs 23:7
As a man thinks in his heart, he is… Think Gold and Noble purposes…
Saturday Night – We have a Kinsman redeemer
Ruth 2:20
Kinsman Redeemer, a close family member who buys back, you, your debts, and gives you an heir for your name and inheritance and allows the name of the husband to live on. It is a provision God made for the people, for widows. He is our avenger our Kinsman’s Redeemer
A closer look at Ruth, she was….
2. Willing --- A. to humble herself
B. to work and put Naomi above herself
C. to do what ever was needed of her.
3. Patient
She trusted Naomi and waited patiently for the out come, even though these were not her customs or her ways, still she waited and trusted in God who was not the God of her people but of Naomi.
Then after a time she was rewarded:
1. husband—a covering
2. made rich – provision
3. a child for Naomi- blessings and inheritance
4. she was of the lineage of Christ Jesus our Kinsman Redeemer
Hebrews 2:14-18
We are children of the free woman not the slave so choose freedom and live for the King.
We too have to become:
1. Willing--- Romans 12: 1
2. Obedient--- Romans 12: 2a
3. Patient ----- Isaiah 40: 31-32
Sunday----- led into the Desert
James 1:-2
Matthew 4:1
We all have to cross the desert to reach our inheritance the Promised Land, the very reason for which we were created. Do not hate the desert but embrace her and her lessons, learn and see Gods great provision.
Even Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit to the desert to be tempted and tried.
5 Reasons or Purposes of the Desert

1. Exodus7:16 So we can serve him in the desert. Worship him in the desert as free children.
2. Deuteronomy 8:2 ---- To humble us.
3. Dueteronomy 8:2 ---- To teach us what’s in our hearts- to see if we will be faithful.
4. Deuteronomy 8:2---- To teach us obedience.
5. Deuteronomy 8:3---- To teach us there is more important things then food for the stomach. Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
Jesus is the bread of life. God Spoke and Mary conceived and Jesus was born. He is the word that came from Gods mouth.
(Matthew 4:4)
The desert is a geographical location and does not have to be a Spiritual condition!

Baja Womens Retreat 2008
Wow, the Ladies retreat has now come and gone and what a wonderful time we had.
We had 12 ladies from Washington, A New Beginning Family Christian Center church come.
They all arrived late Thursday night and everyone was so excited and happy to be here at last.
It was truly a dream come true for me, women from Washington, joining women from Mexico, for an awesome time in Jesus. And that is what we had.
It all began when we arrived at our house on Thursday night the Lord spoke to us that the only thing that could stop us from receiving what he had for us, was us. His plans for the weekend was all about breaking the barriers and chains in our lives, and getting to the next level in him. He was going to work deep and break off generational curses and lies over us and our lives a
nd take us deeper into his presence
. That is what he truly did.Friday we had an outreach at a civic center in Tijuana where we went and gave out hot dogs and juice to the homeless. (About 200 people showed up. They came in gentle waves which made it so nice to minister to and talk with people.) Where we go is right next to the sewer canals of Tijuana where many homeless people live. Wow, God was with us and this event was truly a favorite.
Saturday services, had about 60 in attendance. Again God did not disappoint and it was truly an inspiring experience with our King. We had a few breaks and good food. We played a
few games and got to know one another better. Barb Mellegard gave the day seminars and God just gives her such awesome insight and revelations it was a blessing to my soul.
Sunday people were filled with the Holy Spirit right in the middle of worship. We all rejoiced, danced and knew the elation of victory. We are a changed group of women for the Glory of God.When putting this together we went through times of doubt and worrying
and wondering if this could be as good as last year. Oh, but how good God is because, God so far out did himself it left all of us in awe.I so truly love and adore him and am grateful that it is not about me. Because we all feel doubt and wonder how God can use us and our life, when we are nothing or nobody. We may not be good enough or sufficient, or not powerful enough or not rich enough or not eloquent or smart maybe even uneducated. But that is truly the beauty of things; it is not about you, but about him. He is smart enough, he is sufficient, he is rich and powerful, and he is eloquent and perfect he is the great I AM. All you have to do is be willing and obedient and he will do the rest through us and in us. He is always faithful.
He is always faithful and Gathering of Eagles 2008 surpassed all our greatest expectations.
We are so excited to begin planning next years Gathering of Eagles 2009 so reserve your place and do not miss out on this event.

HOME FROM TEPIC

Well hello Everyone,
We are finally home. Our time was ordered of God and so blessed. We ministered at a church in Guadalajara for 4 services and stayed with them 5 days. They were blessed days and we just already so love Pastor Rafael and his wife Elena and girls, Marcel and Sara. They were so wonderful to stay with..
When ever you go somewhere and do not know the people well, you always wonder how it will be to live with them for 5 days. That’s enough time to know you want out or time to just fall in love with Gods people. We just feel they are family. On our last service with them we made a meal for everyone and invited them to eat with us and get to know us more. We preached, ministered in prayer, cooked and then served the people dinner. It was awesome and I pray they too were blessed. We truly can not wait to go back. We also loved their people.
The Pastors family is the worship team also. Daughter Marcel, plays the bass.His wife Elena, play the drums as dose Sarah. Pastor plays the electric guitar and has taught the rest of his family to play and be the worship team.. He is also teaching anyone in the church who wants to learn to play what ever instrument they choose. Everyone helps and worships the Lord.
Then we moved on to Tepic where we stayed with good friends Pastors Abram and Angie and boys Misael and Antonio.
We ministered in 10 services and visited an orphanage. We also went to pray with people in their houses as they were sick and could not make it to the service.
We ministered in three new churches plus the same three from times before. In each of the services God poured out his power and ministered to his children. He moved in prophecy, healing, words of knowledge and deliverance. He poured out his power and anointing over his children and it was awesome to get to be a part of what he was doing. Glory, God is faithful. I had taken a bad fall in Guadalajara and my left ankle was also giving me a lot of trouble. It was so swollen I could not get any of my shoes or stockings on and had to buy flip flops. But God just kept us in his hand and we were able to do all he had placed before us to do. We were just so blessed in the churches and the Pastors were all so kind and want to have us back when we are in Tepic again.. God is continuing to open new doors for us to walk through. We were also asked to speak in other services but had no time to do it praise God we were busy very busy for him.. When we go back we are invited to Michoacán, another state of Mexcio a few hours away, to a new church to minister in !
We did take a day off and took Pastor Abrams family to the beach.. Well we made it back home safe and sound and blessed and was it ever a wonderful time..
I want to thank you all who kept us in your prayers. It was a blessing and needed, as the enemy tried and fought us on all sides but God has all the power and the victory was ours.
Again Thank you for all your support. It is a blessing to our lives..
How we see ourselves is not how God sees us.. His thoughts are not our thoughts and our thoughts are not his thoughts..
Go forward for God and be blessed my friends..

Hello Our Dear Friends,
Hello Our Dear Friends,
Well we are leaving the 9th ofFebruary and we will return the 25th. We will spend 5 days in Guadalajara ministering in a churches there and then on to Tepic to minister. Even still the Lord is opening new doors for us. Pastor Abram told me when we return to Tepic in November we have been invited to another state, Michoacan to minister too. Also we have an invitation to Mexicali. God is so awesome and we are thrilled for the doors he is opening for us to serve him and his people..
Well please keep us and all these things in your prayers please and know we appreciate it so much..
Please pray especially for:
Health, Gods power, Wisdom, Strength, unity, Fire, a fresh fire and miracles, because Jesus said signs and wonders would follow!
Well we love you and will send out a report when we return with photos.
