We just came home from a hotdog outreach where we gave away, 100 lbs of rice, 100 lbs of beans and 150 lbs of potatoes plus hotdogs and drink. We did this over at our church, Fuente de Agua Viva(Fountain of living Water) we just set up a couple tables out front and bam the people came in droves. Many of the church members came to help evangelize the area and speak with the people as they came for the food. It was an incredible time and it went fast. We were set up and ready to go at 11:00am and by 12:30 we were out of everything. There were so many people who came. I know good seeds were sown for the kingdom of God.
Matthew 25:35
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
Matthew 10:42
And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.
It was a fast and furious pace as the needs are growing here in Tijuana with the economy problems of the US this hits here very hard. A lot of the US factories here in Tijuana are closing and so many people are out of work. They were all so thankful for the food and enjoyed the hot dogs and visiting. God is so gracious and good to us. Truly we are a blessed people. I know we could easily of given away 200 lbs of rice and beans and potatoes. This is something to pray about we need to enlarge our outreaches. I know God will provide as he always does.
We just want to say thank you for all you sow into the work for the Lord here in Tijuana Mexico we the Barnets appreciate you and love your faithfulness so much. Together we are reaching out to the lost with the love of Jesus and making a difference.
God bless you,
Scott, Jeanine, Annalyn and Kenny
