Baja Soul Patrol

PMC update:

12/20/2009

Today we went to Excelencia Cristiana with Pastor Mario and Sister Lupita. We had a marvelous time in Jesus Praising the Lord. Our puppet show is over the top and had everyone rolling with laughter.

We were blessed with two clowns this day Vero (gozita/little joy) and her husband Chuy( Arcoidis/ rainbow). This was Chuy’s first time but he did an awesome job. Chuy, has only been saved for about7 months and wow what a difference Jesus has made in his life. He is game for whatever we do for Jesus and he is so full of the joy of the Lord is was just a pleasure having him with us.

We had a small turn out only half of what were expected 27 kids all together instead of 50 but God was with us and we had a great time. The children were so excited and pleased with the show the gifts and the food, nachos with chili beans and cheese.

Praise God this is number 5 down and two more to go! God is good.

Thanks for your continued prayers and please remember we could not do this without you!

All our love and God bless you continually,

PMC up date:

Fifty or so singing, hopping, shouting and laughing children

from the ages of 13 and under at La Pena, filled our evening

on Wednesday. It was a wonderful evening and the kids truly

had a great time. Their faces just lit up with joy at the sight of their

gifts. Vero played the clown this time and she made a adorable little girl

clown in pig-tails and rosy cheeks. The boys did a awesome job on the

puppet show and everyone was laughing and enjoying the message.

We feasted on super nachos and fruit punch and watched the

Children receive their gifts with true joy. One of the mother’s came to

Me to thank me explaining to me that they could not afford to

buy gifts this year as things had been especially hard this year for

them and the only thing her son wanted was a soccer ball. Guess

what he got for his Christmas gift, that’s right a soccer ball. Her

and her son were thrilled and truly knew Jesus had sent us to

answer a Christmas wish of a precious little boy. God is so good

and he knows us so well, our desires, dreams and wishes and he is always

faithful to. Well this makes two down and five to go!

We are so blessed to get to be used of God in this way, and so thrilled to

have you as a partner with us, in our endeavor to reach out to the children of

Mexico with the Love of Jesus. Christmas is such a special time and we are truly blessed.

Thank you; please continue to pray for us as we continue the programs

of Project Merry Christmas over the next week and a half.

We thank God for you and will continue to keep you in our

Prayers too.

All our Love and may God’s blessing fill your heart and life especially

at this special time of the year, CHRISTmas.

Today we had a Pastors tea for all the Pastors wives of the churches who we work with. It was a fun day. We had 10 pastors wives come and five of the husbands too. We had wonderful time and each lady took home a wonderful Christmas gifts too. We also welcomed the new baby girl of Pastors Jaun Carlos and Yesica with some beautiful gifts. We also gave a bag of baby clothes that were donated to us and we just want to say thanks for the clothes. They were beautiful and really appreciated. There was so many I was able to bless 3 ladies who had new born babies with them today. God is so good and his provision is abundant. We played a couple of games, visited, ate, and just plain old enjoyed each other’s company and celebrating Jesus.

I have attached a couple of photos of the tea and hope you enjoy them. I will also send along in a separate attachment some pictures of the first PMC program.

We love you and thank you for your prayers and support. We hope you are celebrating this wonderful holiday season with your loved ones as we are.

God bless you in all you and all you put your hands too!

December 12, 2009 , Up date

We awoke to gray skies and a definite bitter cold covering Tijuana this morning, but nothing could hamper our excitement as we prepared for our first program of PMC (Project Merry Christmas).

It has not be any means been a perfect day as the Pastor who was suppose to come for us did not arrive. Scott and I decided to take a load over to the church and then go back for whoever the Pastor could not fit in his car. Upon our arrival at the church we were greeted by the Pastor who then explained he was having car trouble and he could not get his car started. Now, I understood why he did not show up at our prearranged hour. Then he went on to explain he also ran out of gas for the stove and was headed to buy a tank right now. Then he mentioned he would also bring back with him the water we needed to make the juice for the kids to have with their lunch.

I smiled to myself and said a prayer for the Lord to help us get through this day without any more incidents or mishaps. I just thank God Scott was home to help us out today. Praise God, he knew and had us covered, God is so good!

Well truly everything else went off without a hitch. We had a great program with a clown and games, songs and a puppet show and to top off the day super nachos and gifts. We only had 30 children because the rains have been torrential and not many in this area can get out of their houses in this kind of rain let alone make to the church. But, still the day was blessed and we all had a good time.

My team is awesome and I am so blessed and proud of them and how they worked and behaved today.

Well this is one down and six more to go. It seemed today the favorite gift of the day was the soccer balls and porcelain doll. I thought the little girl who got the doll was going to cry. She told me a voice of pure awe that her Mama was going to love this. I said to her, I do not care if her Mama loves it or not I want her to get a gift she will love. She looked at me with huge eyes, a little like maybe I was crazy but managed to say she too would love it and take good care of it.

God is so good and the kids truly were blessed and everyone was happy and thankful, even if it did rain like cats and dogs.

Thanks for your support for this program and us here in Tijuana Mexico.

Love and God bless you,
